I’m delighted to have one of my encaustic & mixed media paintings accepted into this juried exhibition. It’s a great reason to return to my old stomping grounds prior to moving to Stratford! The Alton Mill is positively gorgeous! If you’re seeking a beautiful spot to visit this fall, this event organized by the Headwaters Art Organization checks all of the boxes. A lovely spot to visit and savour some art.

I’m honoured to participate in my 9th season along the banks of the Avon River at Stratford’s Art in the Park. Sharing my art work in person and witnessing people’s responses and connections is a gift that I value deeply. I hope to exhibit many days of the season. Honoured to be a recipient of a grant from the Stratford Destination Development Fund for a collaboration with award winning poet, Heidi Sander and accomplished composer, Paul Shilton.

“Emergence” is a multidisciplinary arts project that integrates and moves within the city of Stratford every 2 - 3 weeks.. A collaboration among local artists in three different disciplines provides an arts experience for you within small business host sites. Music composed by Stratford musician, Paul Shilton is accessed by a QR code for your pleasure while you read a poem by award winning poet, Heidi Sander and explore Kim McCarthy's encaustic and mixed media painting. We hope that you enjoy this interactive arts experience.

Casson—this third of four Centennial Art Exhibitions is selected on the theme of Joy Gives Thanks and Moves Us, and is created to engage dialogue with the community.
