Published in Uppercase Magazine — Spring/Summer 2026
I am so thrilled to share that my work has been selected for publication in the Spring/Summer 2026 issue of Uppercase Magazine — a beautifully curated publication celebrating art, design and creativity for the curious and the creative.
The theme of this issue is Texture — a subject close to my heart and central to my practice in encaustic and mixed media. The piece selected for publication is Harvest Moon — a luminous example of my layered approach using gold leaf, micro beads and hand formed copper embedded in warm beeswax.
Being included in the pages of Uppercase is a meaningful milestone and a genuine honour. I am deeply grateful to the Uppercase team for this recognition.
Watching the connections people discover in my work is one of the greatest joys of my life as an artist.
IF THESE DATES DIDN”T WORK FOR YOU, please email me to be on a waiting list as I have a few other people that would love to do this but holidays, health appointments, etc. caused some interference on their calendars. OR if you have a small group of 4 people that would like to do this together, let’s chat about possibilities.
I’m beyond excited to offer these four comprehensive workshops to adults who feel a desire to return to a gentle way of creating again. Often life’s circumstances or old messages that we aren’t really creative can block engaging in a creative outlet. Yet, today there is an abundance of research in neuroscience that proves the countless benefits for our brain health validating what the arts provide for us.
This is something I’ve wanted to offer YOU for a very, very long time.
It came from bearing witness to so many people on parent’s night that would express wishes, regrets and yearnings to do something creative themselves.
Plus, a continual stream of people tell me that they have no artistic ability at all.
I firmly believe that with gentle guidance and some design fundamentals that everyone can create…
On days when the world can feel upside down, creating can calm your mind and soul. If not now, when?
I’m celebrating a decade in this very unique, juried show. Stratford’s Art in the Park is a seasonal event along the banks of the Avon River between Front St. and North St. . Artists display their work under Mother Nature’s canopy of trees and we invite you to get lost in all of the wonders..

Brescia is Canada’s only women’s university. It was founded in 1919 by the Ursuline Sisters, strong women of faith who are committed to social justice, community service, and the development of women. While their roots are in the Catholic faith, they are open to – and embrace – women of all faiths.
